The Eagle is the highest flying bird, the one closest to the Creator, which brings messages back to us on earth. It is whispered that eagles were messengers from the Creator and believed that the eagle feather could help to connect and communicate with ancestors and spirits who had passed on.
 
They represent the freedom of your mind and heart and your ability to travel, change and move through life freely. In Native American cultures, feathers have always been an integral part of sacred ceremonies. The Eagle feather is the most sacred and honoured gift given to an individual. Respect is key in relation to Eagle feathers.
 
This piece is drawn on cold pressed steel using acrylic pens. The background metal is rusted and blued with gun bluing creating a unique, weathered color and expression. The edges are wrapped in patinaed copper. The back is finished and has D-Rings for hanging. Overall size is 14” X 38”
